Wee Feed Rental Program - How Does it Work?

1. Place your order online (or call or text 403-246-7008). 

We rent the Medela Symphony hospital-grade breast pump and the Medela BabyWeigh II Scale, with quick free delivery within Calgary, Alberta. Your rental starts from the day you receive the pump. Rental payments are set up as a subscription, with monthly recurring rental payments. Your payment details will be stored securely by Shopify Payments and your rental fee will be charged on the same date each month until you decide to end your rental.

If you have any difficulty placing your order online, please call or text us. If you live just outside of Calgary, the website may not allow you to place an order for a rental item. Please call us to place your order and make delivery arrangements, or to meet in Calgary. We offer delivery to areas outside of Calgary, such as Airdrie, Chestermere, Langdon, Okotoks, Bragg Creek, and Cochrane, or any rural areas in between, with a delivery fee of $10.

2. Set an approximate delivery time. 

We will follow up as soon as possible, by text or phone call, to set an approximate delivery time. We’re almost always able to deliver the same day. If you order in the evening, sometimes we are still able to deliver that evening, or the next day. We do require someone to receive the pump in person. We personally deliver to your door, and we’re flexible in setting a delivery time and location that works for both of us. If it’s faster for you to pick up from us, we can set a time for you to pick up from our home office, or to meet somewhere in Calgary. If you’re at the hospital when you place your order, you can let us know when you’re heading home, or we can arrange to meet at the hospital main entrance.

If you'd like to reserve a rental pump or scale in advance, place your order and let us know what day you'd like to receive it. If you'd like to receive the pump before baby is born, we can deliver it approximately 1 week before baby is expected to arrive. In that case, the timing of the rental month can begin from the date of baby's birth, so you don't actually end up paying extra for having the pump delivered early!

3. Let Us Know When You'd Like to End Your Rental

When you're almost ready to return your rental pump or scale, please give approximately 1 week's notice before the next monthly rental payment is due, by phone call, text, email, or through our online contact form. This helps us to know which rental products are returning next, and to ensure you will not be charged another rental payment.

For rental breast pumps, our minimum rental length is 2 weeks. If you let us know you're done with the pump within the first 2 weeks of any rental month, we'll pick it up on or before the 2-week mark. Assuming you already paid for the entire rental month, the partial refund will be the difference between the monthly rate and the 2-week rate.

For rental baby scales, our minimum rental length is 1 month.

4. Return Products

We offer free pick up of rental products within Calgary. We'll set an approximate time for us to pick up from your home. If it's easier for you to drop off at our office, we can set a time for drop off. For rental pick ups outside of Calgary but within close driving distance, we can set a time and location to meet in Calgary, or we can pick up from your home with a pick-up fee of $10 + GST.
